Fervent défenseur de l’industrie de l’édition et de l’alphabétisation, Elliot Agyare (Smartline Publisher) compte parmi les éditeurs les plus respectés du Ghana et du continent africain. Il a été, par deux fois, président de la Ghana Book Publishers Association et est l’actuel président de la Commonwealth Book Publishers Association. Il est notamment intervenu auprès de la Banque mondiale sur la question de l’accès aux livres. Elliot est également membre du conseil d’administration de la maison d’édition universitaire, University Press, et vice-président du conseil d’administration du Ghana Book Trust.
